New Payment Center

  • The Payment Center is the first screen you see when you are connected from Online Banking to Bill Pay. Multiple pages have been consolidated making the Bill Pay site easier to navigate and use.

  • A same day/next day option is available and displays the earliest available payment date for each individual biller rather than requiring payments to be scheduled at least 4 days in advance as in the previous version.

  • The "Bill Reminders" section shows incoming bills and their due dates.

  • The "Pending Payments" section displays all scheduled payments.

  • The "Recent Payments" section displays all completed payments from the previous 45 days.

  • Payment memos can be attached to payments for reference and printing.

  • Payment notes can be attached to payments to serve as informative reminders.

  • Failed Payment Notifications inform you by e-mail if a payment has failed.

Add a Bill
Using the Quick Add process located in the "Add a Bill" section you can add many billers using only a phone number.  In some cases, you may be able to designate these billers as eBillers where you can receive your bills electronically.

Automatic Payments

  • Recurring Payment models can have an end date specified instead of calculating the actual number of payments required.

  • Recurring Payments can be edited to make changes instead of having to cancel the payment and then resubmit with updated information.

  • An icon on the Payment Center designates billers for whom recurring payment models have been established.

  • E-mail messages for recurring payments notify you of payments pending, sent and when a recurring payment will expire.

Bill History
A Sort capability is available for Bill History fields.  Payment posting detail from the biller is provided.

Bill Reminders

  • Bill reminders enable incoming bills and their due dates to be displayed in the Payment Center.

  • E-mail messages remind you of bills due, past due and confirms payments sent.

Account Information

  • Account masking hides all but the last five digits of both funding account numbers and payee account numbers.

  • The payment account used for the last transaction of the previous session becomes the default payment account selection for the next session.

  • Outstanding payments from a deleted account can be moved to an active account.

Payment Scheduling Options
The payment processing window has been extended from 1:00 PM (EST) to 7:00 PM (EST) allowing additional time to initiate payments before the business day.
If you schedule a payment after 7:00 PM (EST), the Available Payment Date will change to the next business day.

Discontinued Features

  • The Search capability for Bill History fields has been replaced by date ranges provided in the Sort option.

  • Person-to-Person e-mail payments are no longer available.

  • The MS Money download has been discontinued, however, the Quicken download is still available.
